Artist Statement:
I am a visual explorer, searching the world’s main streets and back roads with relentless curiosity and wanderlust to create photographic art from the people and places that inspire me. I see what lies beneath an obvious surface focusing instead on a reflection or hidden aspect to narrate a story.
My art has been exhibited in group shows across New England including the Brush Art Gallery, Cambridge Art Association, Danforth Museum of Art, and Galatea Fine Arts. In 2010, I was one of 12 artists selected for Exposure, the 15th annual PRC Juried Exhibition. My work has also been featured in the four-artist show, Connections, at the Maine Media Gallery. In addition, my work is held in the permanent art collection of the Bernardi Auto Group.
Professional/Teaching Experience:
Cindy developed a series on Boston Photography Focus, Marketing Conversations for Photographers, which presented constructive concepts and tips on how to improve success and visibility as a photographer working in the world of art, commerce, or both. She has been a guest contributor for Mosaic offer suggestions on building influence using mobile photography.
