Artistic Influences:
My work is less influenced by a particular person but rather by favorite novels, summer memories, and the idea of escape through stories. I use familiar scenes and quiet figures to explore attention, longing, and the emotional space between reality and imagination.
My biggest artistic influence
I would have to say David Hockney.. I find his art fascinating, the way he uses light. I find myself always looking for the light in my everyday life now; where it comes from, how it’s reflected etc
And of course, Jean-Michel Basquiat.
